Starbucks Set to Officially Launch 31-oz “Trenta” Cup Size

Back in March of last year, we caught wind of Starbucks testing a monstrous 31-oz cup size at various locations under the name “Trenta”. According to a report from Reuters on Sunday, Starbucks is looking to roll out their biggest drink size yet to all of its U.S. coffee shops by May 3rd. 14 U.S. states will receive the cup on January 18th, including Virginia, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Hawaii and Arizona, with California receiving the bigger cups by February 1st.

Apparently, the new size will only be available for iced coffee, iced tea and iced tea lemonade drinks. For those doing some math, the Trenta has a 7-ounce size advantage on the chain’s next largest “Venti” cup-size. Pricing wise, Trenta-sized cups will run 50 cents more per beverage.
