Wrigley Sells Chicago Headquarters

After over 90 years of ownership, the iconic William Wrigley Junior Company building on Chicago’s Michigan Avenue has been sold to investors for an undisclosed amount of money.

Wrigley had put up the building for sale some time ago after deciding to relocate its global headquarters to the company’s campus on Goose Island in Chicago.Wrigley will continue to lease space in the building through 2012 and as one of the terms of the building’s sale, it will still retain the Wrigley name once Wrigley’s ownership passes.
