New York vs London, a Detailed Comparison of Coffee Prices & Consumption

coffee-wars

This morning’s topic of contention? Who wins at coffee, New York or London?

While  the meaning of “winning at coffee” might be debated, Tassimo interpreted coffee wins as the number of shops, drinkers, and strange consumption habits each city could lay claim to.

The results for who actually wins are also inconclusive, but Tassimo’s handy infographic did teach us some interesting things about coffee consumption in the city.  Compared to 80 percent of Londoners, only 63 percent of New Yorkers drink a cup daily. NY also prefers espressos to the London latte, and has more coffee shops per city.  However, London does take the cake for most expensive cup.  At £60, the most expensive coffee will run you $100 dollars.  If only for that, I’d say New York wins.

Who do you think wins the coffee wars? See the full graphic with all the stats below, and let us know in the comments!
