White Claw Launches A New Tequila Seltzer

White Claw is going beyond vodka and getting into tequila with its newest product launch – Tequila Smash.

White Claw Tequila Smash is said to be the first tequila drink with a balance of seltzer, tequila, and fresh fruit flavors without added sugar and 100 calories per 12 oz. can.

The brand began its research into a new kind of tequila drink more than three years ago. This odyssey led the company to the lowlands of Jalisco, Mexico, where it sources tequila from non-GMO blue weber agave grown on a family-owned organic farm. It is then aged at least six years. At this very farm, White Claw claims to have developed a method to preserve the purest, most aromatic essence of agave before it vanishes during the tequila production process. They call it Agua Dulce.

White Claw Tequila Smash is available in four new flavors–White Claw Tequila Smash Strawberry Guava, White Claw Tequila Smash Pineapple Passion Fruit, White Claw Tequila Smash Mango Tamarind and White Claw Tequila Smash Lime Prickly Pear.

White Claw Tequila Smash is rolling out in the U.S. now, available in variety 8-packs for $18.49-$18.99.
