Whipahol: alcohol-infused whipped cream

Whipped Lightning® is positioned as the world’s first alcohol-infused whipped cream. You heard right, 33.5 Proof, 16.75 alc/vol in your whipped cream. Referred to as Whipahol®, it seems rather genius for dressing up shots, shooters, cocktails, martinis, coffees, frozen beverages and of course…pumpkin pie!

With the alcohol content similar to consuming 3-4 beers, and availability in roughly 10 different flavors, the only thing holding this product back is its limited availability across the United States. At the time of this posting, this product is only readily available in 10 states, special order capabilities in 4 states and in plans to come to two more states.

The beauty of the day and age we live in is that this product is readily available via the Internet. Stores such as Shoppers Vineyard and Argonaut Liquor seem to have a nice supply available for alcoholics with a sweet tooth, with prices ranging from $8.99$9.99 depending on location. The flavors we’ve seen include: pumpkin pie, german chocolate, caramel pecan, hazelnut espresso, spiced vanilla, amaretto, strawberry colada, tropical passion, coconut and chocolate raspberry.
