When in Doubt, Add Bacon — McDonald’s Testing a Bacon McDouble?

McDonald’s latest test item out in the wild, as spotted by bloggers, is a tempting new Bacon McDouble.

The new sandwich features the familiar duo of “100% beef patties seasoned with a pinch of salt and pepper,” a slice of American cheese, pickles, minced onions, ketchup and mustard. Only this time around, with a $0.99 upcharge from the original Dollar Menu staple, the burger comes with a couple slices of bacon on top.

Is this Bacon McDouble in your town yet? I’m sure you could custom order this sandwich on your own, but would you be opposed to seeing it on McDonald’s value menu? Or would you rather save some room for more favorable McDonald’s items?
