What if In-N-Out Had a Bacon Hamburger?

I figured this was an extremely interesting topic for today. A few days back, a friend of mine and I were discussing what foods bacon might be awesomely paired with. Of all the obscure options we covered, we ended up returning to burgers…and we wondered, how awesome would it be if the stringently simple and brand conscious In-N-Out burger added a “Bacon Burger” to their famous menu? Although I don’t see this happening in the near future…let alone, ever, I did stumble upon a BaconToday article where their author apparently contemplated the same thing. He then went out to his local restaurant to with his own bag of bacon, placed his order, and made the sandwich himself. Oh well, until our dreams come true, we live vicariously through such fan-made substitutes. Eat on!
