Wendy’s Will Reportedly Sell A Krabby Patty Meal This Fall

Wendy’s is reportedly releasing a new Spongebob Squarepants-inspired meal in partnership with Paramount according to a Reddit post that leaked an internal memo spilling all the beans on this exciting team-up. It says that on October 8, Wendy’s is releasing the Krabby Patty Meal to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Spongebob Squarepants. If you’re a fan of the cartoon, this iconic sandwich needs no introduction.

To bring this creation to life, Wendy’s is crafting a premium cheeseburger featuring their fresh, never-frozen beef, topped with fresh produce and a secret Krabby sauce. The meal also includes a medium order of Hot & Crispy fries and the Pineapple Under The Sea Frosty—a vanilla Frosty blended with pineapple mango puree, inspired by SpongeBob’s iconic home.

Wendy’s plans to launch a full campaign aimed at television, earned media, and merch too. Whether or not the memo is legit remains to be seen. Or, perhaps it is and this leak will impact the rollout. One thing’s for sure, with all of the buzz surrounding the Krabby Patty already, Wendy’s knows it has a lot of fans looking forward to sinking their teeth into an official one.
