Wendy’s Launches New Bacon Queso Menu In Restaurants Nationwide

Wendy’s is pulling out some fuego with this melty queso.

The fast food chain just dropped three new food items that feature bacon and a brand new spicy poblano queso, according to Chewboom. The spicy liquid cheese is topping off a brand new Bacon Queso Chicken Sandwich, a Bacon Queso Burger, and Bacon Queso Fries.

The chicken sandwich and burger are essentially the same build, it’s just the choice of crispy fried chicken or a burger patty that’s different. Both have ladles of poblano queso, three strips of bacon, red onions, shredded cheddar, and fire-roasted salsa. The two sandwiches also use the same toasted red jalapeno bun. Meanwhile, the new Bacon Queso Fries are as simple as you can imagine, only containing fries, cheddar, queso, and bacon.

Folks on the internet have already begun to weigh in with their takes on the news items. Our guy Daym Drops particularly loved the Bacon Queso Fries, and when Daym raves about a dish, you know you gotta pay attention.

We’ll be following Daym’s advice (and our curious stomachs) to Wendy’s to check the new products out. They appear to be a limited-time offer, however, so if you want to add on some creamy queso to your diet, head to one of their locations soon.
