Watch Where You Sit, or Just Watch This Clever Café Chair Prank

According to magician Rich Ferguson, a good prank is something that’s funny and creative and leaves people wanting to do it to someone else instead of wanting to sue you — like dressing yourself up as a chair, plopping down in a middle of a café and freaking out anyone who dares to sit on you, for instance.

In the video below, Ferguson’s clever disguise blends in perfectly with his pseudo gypsy-hipster surroundings, so it’s no surprise how many people accidentally butt-hump him:

The best parts are when one terrified woman doesn’t stand and run away but decides to just spazz in the chair (around :35) and every time someone tries to move the chair to someplace more comfortable. Just imagine, if Ferguson had been more dedicated to the ruse and only got up once someone laid her bum on his lap, he might have ended up out on the street or even at a Goodwill. And who knows whether or not he can see in that thing? He might be in the middle of someone’s living room before he finally stands and — Hang on, this isn’t Starbucks! WTF?!
