Watch: Black & White Table Setting Transforms To Dreamy Color

The only time anyone turns away a warm cooked meal is when they are heartsick, a concept that is creatively portrayed in this video created by Eran Amir while the song “Eid Ma Clack Shaw” by Bill Callahan plays. At first, everything is painted gray but as the video progresses, the scene is transformed into a vibrant portrait of a man in a tie playing solitaire at a kitchen table, with a carafe of orange juice, bottle of Coca-Cola, bowl of fruit and a canister of Bubble Gum. The song is about a lover who appears to him in his dreams, brightening his world, only to disappear when he wakes up to his harsh lonely reality. Yet when he returns to his slumber, the answer to how he can forget the memories are given to him in a perfect song, leaving him with hope and a world where fruit and beverages have their rightful appeal.

Love is the king of the beasts
And when it gets hungry it must kill to eat
Love is the king of the beasts
A lion walking down city streets
