Virgin America Lets Passengers Buy Each Other Drinks, Increases Chances of Joining Mile-High Club
Flights can be unforgivably dull and sometimes chatting up the gal/guy you spotted two rows over would make things infinitely more interesting. Except, how do you start a conversation when s/he’s sandwiched between a fellow snoring and another chap throwing up into his designated barf bag? Your average in-flight setting isn’t exactly the ideal place to strike up a conversation.
Thank goodness for Virgin America addressing this harrowing issue. The airline is offering “Seat-to-Seat Delivery” that will enable passengers to send drinks and food to other passengers using a special in-flight program. Passengers can target their, ahem, point of interest using a digital map of the plane, select what item to send and even add a flirty message.
Unfortunately, the fact that your’re 30,000 feet in the air means that you can’t avoid the other party if they turn out to be an absolute drag. Shucks.
Check out the instructional video below and watch Sir Richard Branson give you the deets on how to increase your chances of “deplaning with a plus-one.”
