I’m sure there’s a large segment of folks who are over Salt Bae’s recent antics at the World Cup. So who then is the next food hero to carry the proverbial viral torch and lead us into the new year?

Enter the “Butter King.”

TikTok user @oanderle, whose real name is Oscar Leal, recently stepped out of a screening of Avatar: Way of the Water at the Century 16 Theater in Corpus Christi, Texas and stumbled upon a grand popcorn serving master showing off some serious skills.

In the viral clip above, Leal captured theater employee, Jason Grossboll exercise supreme finesse with the way he deftly layers butter and popcorn like he was born to do it.

Hopefully this inspires other theater employees to exhibit this level of artistry when it comes to slinging popcorn, because after seeing the Butter King in action, I’m convinced that this is the best way. So who else out there is ready to be the next Popcorn Picasso?
