Village Pet Store and Charcoal Grill

British graffiti artist Banksy’s newest work is a pet store in the West Village of New York City. The showpiece is 300 square feet and features quirky displays featuring anything but animals, such as the Chicken McNuggets sipping barbeque sauce above. Among other food inspired pets are breaded fish swimming in goldfish bowls and hot dogs lounging in reptile cages. The pets move with the help of animatronics. Wooster Collective says that this is new territory for Banksy, who usually works with paintings and graffiti. The Village Pet Store and Charcoal Grill is open daily from 10am to midnight through October 31st.
