Unilever Awards $100k to Aid Detroit Restaurant

Unilever Food Solutions has named the winner of its first Inspired Restaurant Makeover competition where independent restaurant owners submitted online their reasons how Unilever Food Solutions could help their business flourish. the $100,000 prize package went to Cynthia Krstich, manager of The Coach Sports Grille of Madison Heights, MI just outside of Detroit.

The package includes 100+ hours of consultation from Unilever Food Solutions including help from the company’s Certified Master Chef and Dietitian, a year’s supply of Unilever Food Solutions’ ingredients, $5,000 cash to invest in restaurant improvements, and a 4-person Culinary Institute of America weekend experience to learn from CIA instructors to help improve the restaurant’s menu.
