Trader Joe's: Voluntary Peanut Recall Notice

In respects to the recent focus of the ongoing Salmonella investigation of peanut butter manufactured by Peanut Corporation of America (PCA), Trader Joe’s issued a voluntary recall for three private label products on February 27, 2009. The three products include: Vegan Trail Mix Cookies (Northern California Stores Only), 12-ounce (UPC 22442), Sweet, Savory & Tart Trail Mix Bars, 7.4-ounce (UPC 68686) and Trail Mix Fruit & Nut Bar (item sold individually), 1.6-ounce (UPC 91954). If you have purchased any of these products, you are being urged to return them to any Trader Joe’s location for a full refund.
