Toss Back These Edible Donut Shots

It once was that you went to the club and had a fun night with tequila and woke up hearing yesterdays chants, “Shots! Shots! Shots!” to the rhythm of your hangover headache. But thanks to Darlene Horn, the writer behind My Burning Kitchen, you’ll be hearing the Shots Chant at night and in the morning, and you won’t even be complaining. Her ingenious donut invention? Kahlua poured inside of the glazed shell goodness of a donut hole.

It’s the kind of thing that makes you wonder why, with all of the technological advances, we didn’t think of this sooner. And there’s more! She’s also written a graphic novel, Girl with the Donut Tattoo, humorously conveying adventures behind the writing of My Burning Kitchen, recipes included. If there’s more perfections like the donut shots, I’m on board for that adventure.
