This is How an Interactive Designer Sees Breakfast

It’s like this.

In part, anyway.

Ed Lea is a visual and interactive designer, and apparently, this is what he sees when he sits down to breakfast in the morning. Lucky him.

Through this mildly mouth-water series of photos, Lea takes what should be just a bowl of cereal and turns it into something… smart. The first photo, the product, breaks down the bowl into its “individual elements of design”. Literally, flake by flake, Lea shows us the product.

Next up are the user’s experience (UX) and the user’s interface (UI), or what the user is interacting with (a bowl of cereal) and how the user is interacting with it (a spoon).

Finally, you’ve got the server (literally, the box/jar/dispenser thingy from which the cereal is produced, or served) and the datacenter–in this case, the cabinet full of all your tasty breakfast selections.

Wait, this makes so much sense. Where was this guy during that comp sci class I pretended to take sophomore year?
