This Guy Used a Machine Gun to Cook His Bacon — The Results Were Awesome

When Reddit user Oelund claimed to have an “Exciting new way to cook bacon,” I thought, ‘All right, he’s trying to sell the next Bacon Wave.’ But I was wrong. You won’t find this method used in any infomercials as it is pure hardcore, bad-assery wrapped in bacon.

His instructions sounded McGyver-ish as he used bacon, tin foil and string. Then it got R-rated as he wrapped the foil around the barrel of a 7.62mm machine gun that was ready to be thrown out, wrapped bacon over the foil and tied it down with string.

About 250 rounds later, he had himself some crispy, deliciously cooked bacon. Needless, to say: DON’T TRY THIS AT HOME.

What inspired his Rambo-style bacon cooking? Apparently in World War I, machine guns were used to boil water. The things you can learn on Reddit.

He admitted that a small section was inedible, but you can’t win ’em all.
