This Gorgeous, Glass-Paneled Landmark Is Actually a McDonald’s

My guess is this is where they put all the McDonald’s cashiers with Bachelor’s degrees. I mean, all those years of schooling have got to count for something right?

Believe it or not, this super fancy Louvre-esque building is actually one of McDonald’s newest franchise locations in Batumi, Georgia, opened in October 2012.

Built by a group called the KHMALADZE Architects, it was designed to be a hybrid fueling centre and eatery, which is really just a fancy name for gas station with fast food attached. The resulting city landmark features a completely glass-faceted exterior housing a sloping garden surrounded by decorative pools. And yes, you can absolutely still get fries with that.
