This Artist Turns Common Food into Whimsical Pieces of Art

There’s more to your wine cork, lettuce leaf, and walnuts than what you first see. Artist Victor Nunes imagines those pictures and sketches them around every day objects, turning the ordinary and mundane into adorable, poignant pieces of art. While he works with all kinds of mediums, including foil packaging, pencil shavings, and matches, we’re particularly drawn to his food-based creations.

It’s certainly making us see our snacks in a different light, but take a look for yourself to see the magic at work.
