These Mac And Cheese-Stuffed Pretzel Balls Belong In A Food Court

Our buddy Nick at Dude Foods has a reputation for creating some crazy, mouth-watering recipes such as the S’mores Cone and the Maple Bacon Chicken and Waffle Wings.

This week he brings us a treat that we wish was available at the food court in the mall, but we’re glad we can make ourselves thanks to his recipe. They are ooey-gooey Mac and Cheese-Stuffed Pretzel Balls.

Nick said he made these by freezing the mac and cheese into ice cube trays and later wrapping them with Rhodes Dinner Rolls. After wrapping the balls, he put them in boiling water mixed with baking soda to give the rolls that classic pretzel feel and flavor. He then stuck them in the oven for about 20 minutes and these insane appetizers came out.

He was inspired to make these after the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks held a recipe contest where the winner would score some court-side seats to a game. Although he did not win the contest, it led to some pretzel inspiration as he graced us with this twisted creation.

Check out the full post on Dude Foods for a complete step-by-step on how to make these.
