The Juice Box Camera

I spend a good amount on my editorial pedestal here at Foodbeast taking jabs at the average hipster, but when it comes down to it, every time I bring to light a product like this Juice Box Camera, I’m doing nothing but furthering the movement. The camera serves partly as a reminder of simpler times, another part joy of 35mm photography, capturing all the warmth and ease of use that comes along with a camera that needs no batteries or setting changes. The straw works as the camera’s shutter, twist the straw to open the shutter and push it down to snap a photo. The plastic lens helps deliver a lo-fi look, while the 28mm wide angle lens gives every photo that coveted vignette effect.

The camera works best with ISO 800 film, and for those that need more specifics: 28mm f/9.5, 1/100 shutter speed. ($25 @ Photojojo)
