The Barones Are Foodbeasts

It’s always entertaining to note Foodbeasts in our day-to-day observances of popular culture. Today I bring you the Barone family, the fictional cast of characters in the Emmy Award Winning show, “Everybody Loves Raymond”. For those unfamiliar, Ray Romano’s character, Ray Barone, is a man married to a wife who can’t cook and lives across the street from his two intrusive and annoying parents. One thing that is interesting to note, while the entire narrative is constructed by the comedic outcomes of family interplay, one of the driving forces behind the show’s character developments revolves around food.
