Target: Set to Offer Groceries

A few years back, Wal-Mart stores began adding grocery-isles at some of their locations. In Orange County, Target is taking the initiative to install them before Wal-Mart does! Within the next several months, three Orange County Target locations will be adding fresh produce and packaged meats to their offerings, as part of a nation-wide initiative to create grocery offerings in 100 Target locations. Among the first locations to adapt these new grocery settings will be locations in Orange, Seal Beach and Costa Mesa. The remapped stores will feature basic grocery item lists, bananas, strawberries, bagged lettuce, fresh bakery goods, ground beef, chicken, pork, etc. According to our friends over at the OC Register , the Seal Beach location’s grocery option is expected to be operational in August, while the Orange and Costa Mesa locations will be ready in October.
