Take Holiday Dinner On The Go With These New Starbucks Sandwiches

As I walked in to Starbucks this morning to get my daily jolt before work, I saw some signage promoting their new Thanksgiving-inspired sandwiches. Just what I wanted after a full weekend of Thanksgiving leftovers — more turkey and stuffing.

These honestly shouldn’t exist after the turkey-filled holiday, but if you miss your Moistmaker, and are still craving the taste of those Turkey Day flavors, I guess try out the new “All the Trimmings” sandwich, and their “Turkey and Stuffing” panini.

I was going to try to be as unbiased as possible, but the thought of more turkey just made me gag.

I tried the Turkey and Stuffing panini first, and it actually wasn’t bad. The turkey wasn’t terribly dry and the stuffing actually tasted like stuffing. Things went downhill after the second bite, though, but again, I think it’s because I’m sick of Thanksgiving food at the moment.trimmings

The All the Trimmings sandwich was just gross overall. The sausage looked anemic, and the bread was way too mushy, giving me flashbacks of the shitty cafeteria food I had growing up in public school.

There’s really no reason to ever eat Starbucks sandwiches, unless you work there and it’s free lunch for you. Their food is overpriced, considering you’re getting something that’s packaged and quickly warmed up in an oven. These sandwiches are no different. The panini had promise, but the trimmings breakfast sandwich is just a straight up failure.

Try them if you must, but don’t get too excited.
