Taco Bell Teases Everyone with Fritos Shells, May Appear Soon

Now that Taco Bell has monopolized the world of Doritos-flavored taco shells, it appears the company is setting its sights on another chip altogether. Fritos.

Business Insider reported that during a presentation with Taco Bell’s parent company, Yum! Brands, they noticed a peculiar item in one of the slides. The fast food company had an image of a taco shell with a Fritos bag wrapped around it, similar to how they would market their (in)famous Doritos Locos Tacos.

While it could be nothing more than a test image, it could also mean that Taco Bell has big things in store for Fritos chips, and they’re looking taco-shaped.

Fritos are a snack product owned by Frito-Lay, a subsidiary of Pepsi-Co.

Could we see a Fritos Locos Taco sometime in the near future? If so, here’s hoping for a Honey BBQ Fritos shell.
