Taco Bell Is Testing Out NACHO FRIES And We Need Them Now

Taco Bell just keeps coming up with W’s in the fast food innovation game.

The fast food chain just low-key launched a test of two new items related to turning French fries into NACHOS. The first item is fries served with nacho cheese sauce being dubbed as Nacho Fries. The other, according to Thrillist, is called the Nacho Fries Supreme, and comes loaded with ground beef, sour cream, pico de gallo, and nacho cheese atop a bed of fries. BrandEating reports that another version, called the Nacho Fries Bell Grande, comes with double the fries of the Supreme.

The Nacho Fries Supreme basically sounds like a fast food version of carne asada fries with ground beef instead of steak, and with carne asada fries being the drunk food of choice for me, I’m totally down with the concept. To me, the only thing that could make it more epic is to utilize both fries and the Naked Chicken Chips as the base for the Nacho Fries Supreme. Yea, it would be a ton of food, but it would be FIRE.

Apparently they’re being tested in West Virginia, where the Nacho Fries item is selling for a buck each. Some people have reported seeing them out in California as well, however.

For everyone else, we’ll just have to wait and see if the test is successful enough for these cheesy spuds to make it nationwide one day.
