We All Win Free Taco Bell If An Away Team Steals A Win From Home Team In The NBA Finals

The NBA playoffs have been nothing short of dramatic this year — per the usual. Teams’ journeys to the NBA Finals all provide for unique storylines and melodrama (can be confused with Melo’s drama of still being team-less), culminating in some must-watch TV. But for a fourth year in a row, Taco Bell is joining in on the NBA Finals action by uniting sports and non-sports fans alike to cheer on something that they all can get behind: free tacos.

With Taco Bell’s “STEAL A GAME, STEAL A TACO” promo, everyone in America wins, regardless of your team affiliation. That’s because if the road team ‘steals’ a win from the home team, then that means free tacos for everyone. And we’re not talking about just any regular taco, as Taco Bell’s self-dubbed G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Tacos), the Doritos Locos Taco, will be given away for free.

As of this writing, it’s only the Golden State Warriors that have made it to the NBA Finals, with the Toronto Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks still going at it for their chance to make it to their first finals appearance in their respective franchises histories. But regardless of the finals matchup, we can all root for the away team to steal a W on the home team’s court all for the sake of free Doritos Locos Tacos.

Who: Taco Bell

What: Free Doritos Locos Tacos if the away team steals a win from the home team.

When: The 2019 NBA Finals start Thursday, May 30 and could run through a possible Game 7 on June 16. The first game the road team wins will automatically win everyone in America a free Doritos® Locos Taco on Tuesday, June 18 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (local time).
