You Can Win Taco Bell’s First-Ever Metaverse Wedding

Taco Bell is taking the future of love to the next step with a metaverse wedding package, ensuring your wedding is FIRE! Now through September 6, couples around the U.S. will be able to apply to win the brand’s first-ever virtual legal and metaverse wedding package.

Does the package come with Mexican Pizzas? Sadly no, but the winning couple will score a customizable wedding package on Decentraland this fall including a first dance, food, toasts, exchanging of vows, rings, NFT ceremony invites for close friends and family to enter the interactive wedding chapel, and of course, the title of, “First Couple to Get Married at Taco Bell in the Metaverse.”

Once the couple is selected, they will also be a part of the wedding planning process including co-designing wedding attire with a soon-to-be-named designer and choosing a notable officiant to commemorate the legal union.

This isn’t Taco Bell’s first time at weddings, in fact, the brand has been hosting weddings for the past five years at the flagship Las Vegas Cantina.

“We’re always looking for new ways to meet our fans where they already are and provide them with signature Taco Bell experiences… even when that’s in the metaverse,” said Sean Tresvant, Taco Bell’s Chief Brand Officer. “By bringing the metaverse wedding to life and adding layers of the brand’s Live Más mentality, the couple and attendees will be able to up the ante on their love for each other and the brand they love, too. In the age of swiping for love, Taco Bell’s metaverse wedding will allow one couple to take part in the voyage of what may well be the next evolution of modern love – and we’re proud to be leading the charge.”

So, how do you sign up? Visit www.tacobell.com/metaverse-wedding, where you’ll complete a registration form and submit a video detailing your unique love story, your love for Taco Bell, and why you should be the couple to get married in the metaverse. Taco Bell also wants you to post the video to Instagram and TikTok and use the hashtag, #TacoBellMetaverseWeddingContest.
