This Is An Awesome Way To Make Your Sushi Look Like Koi Fish

A recent video teaches viewers how to make sushi at home that looks like actual koi fish.

Using the base ingredients of rice, squid, cod roe, shrimp, and seaweed, Jun from the JunsKitchen Youtube channel constructs the sushi that looks like an entire fish, all while his curious cat watches on.

The secret to making the artistic looking fish includes leaving the shrimp tails on as the koi tails, using criss-cross cut slices of squid as fish skin, and thinly sliced cucumber triangles as fins. A small piece of seaweed or a black sesame seed is used as the eyes.

Watch his video above to learn how to make your own — and also to see his cute cat.
