Subway Is Giving Away One Million Free Sandwiches On July 11

Hoping to improve every aspect of its guest experience, Subway has announced its latest menu offering: freshly sliced meats. The new deli meats are part of an expansion on the Subway Series menu called Deli Heroes and include a selection of ultimate deli subs. Aiming to capture an authentic deli-style sandwich, it took over two years to prepare the launch at U.S. locations.

In the release, Subway said that adding deli-style sandwiches was one of the most complex changes it has ever faced, and required reorganizing its supply chain and installing deli meat slicers in 20,000 Subway locations. The sandwiches in particular took one year for the company’s culinary team to develop.

  • Titan Turkey (#15): Turkey, double provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and mayonnaise. Served on Artisan Italian bread.
  • Grand Slam Ham (#99): Ham, double provolone, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and mayonnaise. Served on Artisan Italian bread.
  • Garlic Roast Beef (#17): Roast Beef, double provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and Roasted Garlic Aioli. Served on Artisan Italian bread.
  • The Beast (#30): Pepperoni, salami, turkey, ham, roast beef, double provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, mayonnaise, and MVP Vinaigrette. Served on Artisan Italian bread.

In honor of the new Deli Heroes Sub, Subway is giving away up to one million free six-inch sandwiches at participating locations nationwide tomorrow July 11, between 10 am and 12 pm local time. The first 50 customers to ask for a free sub will receive one per person, while supplies last. You’ll have to pay additional for add-ons, while substitutes along with coupons aren’t allowed.
