Creepers Keep Hiding Cameras In Starbucks Restrooms
A disturbing trend has started as people are finding cameras sneakily hidden in Starbucks restrooms.
In July, a kid noticed a camera phone under the restroom sink of a Lancaster, California Starbuck. The kid was just trying to do his business and noticed the camera propped up with toilet paper, pointed toward the toilet and recording.
Now a similar incident was reported in a Brea, California Starbucks Monday. A tiny camera, about the size of a pen, was found under a shelf inside the restroom, according to KTLA.
At least for the Brea incident, a man has been arrested after Brea police Tweeted out a photo of the suspect. Melchor Carrilloalvarado, 44, turned himself after having his mug shown all over news stations.

He allegedly recorded at least seven people with the camera and was booked on seven misdemeanor counts.
While Carrilloalvarado will have his day in court, the Lancaster creeper is still out there, being all creepy.
Starbucks told KTLA:
“As a part of regular store operations, we monitor the seating areas and restrooms in our stores on a regular basis to identify potential safety or security concerns.”
While Starbucks will surely keep an eye out for any fishy-looking devices in their restrooms, it’s still a trend that’s pretty unsettling.
