Spice Up Mainstream Food With This ‘Hipster Dust’ (Use With Irony)
Tired of posers with non-Macs crowding your local non-chain coffee shop? Feel that ‘putting a bird on it‘ has gone too mainstream? Then may we interest you in a little Hipster Dust?
Yes, really.
This totally not mainstream spice blend is called – wait for it – Hipster Dust. Now, you should know, if you’re a real hipster, you won’t touch the stuff — as everyone knows no hipster ever admits to being one. Unless, of course, you used it ironically. But then things start getting complicated.
Anyway, despite its weird name and Williamsburg origin, the stuff can apparently be used to add some kick (and/or smug sense of superiority) to pastas, salads, etc. Although, we wouldn’t recommend it for that espresso you’re sipping. Still, you can get a one cent sample of it, with no shipping. So, maybe it’s worth the inevitable fallout.
Because, seriously, who would willingly sprinkle something called “Hipster Dust” on their food? That’s why we have Sriracha, folks.
