‘Soundwich’ Lunch Box Will Serenade You Into A Food Coma

Portuguese company Soundwich now provides musical sandwich tins that play a tune when opened. The chef who conceives the recipe for each sandwich handpicks a suitable accompanying song for the dish. The ‘soundwiches’ themselves are quite decadent— one is composed of chicken breast, buffalo mozzarella, roasted bacon, pesto and rucula, and another of ratatouille with goat cheese, fresh spinach and capers. Mmm…I just hope these serenading snacks are soothing, rather than jarring reminders of their Hallmark predecessors.
