Snapchat Is Selling A Dancing Hot Dog Costume On Amazon And People Love It

Snapchat’s dancing hot dog augmented filter has become widely popular. In the few months it’s been available, the hot dog has been viewed over 1.5 billion times, according to Snap CEO Evan Spiegel. To capitalize on that superstar status, Snapchat has decided to go one step further and developed a dancing hot dog costume, just in time for Halloween.

Currently, the costume is being sold on Amazon, where it’ll set you back $80. The outfit is just two pieces: the upper “hot dog tunic” with attached sleeves and hands, and pants that include attached shoe covers. The hands have slits that free up your own digits to operate your phone, thus giving you the ability to record (or Snap) yourself jamming to some tunes. Come to think of it, a clip of yourself in the dancing hot dog costume grooving next to the hot dog filter might be the most meta Snap ever…

At any rate, folks who’ve seen the costume on Amazon already have been loving it so far and have been leaving hilarious rave reviews of the product on Amazon’s website. Below is a collection of some of the best of those:

It’s currently unclear as to whether the costume will be part of Snapchat’s permanent apparel lineup or if it’s just a limited-time release for the holiday. In any case, we can’t wait to see how many folks dress up as their favorite dancing dog for Halloween.
