Skittles Psuedo-Interactive Touch Campaign Violates Millions of Fingers

Skittles is getting the attention it deserves the past couples days in alignment with their rather genius psuedo-interactive ‘TOUCH THE RAINBOW’ campaign. While the candy brand has long touted their famous “Touch the Rainbow” catchphrase, never has it been more alive than in their series of web videos encouraging the end user to press their finger to a point on the screen and become involved with what’s occurring in the narrative. In the case of their Skittles Touch: Cat video, some 600,000 views were logged within two days of the content being live.

In the Skittles Touch: Cat, our finger begins to be innocently licked by a wandering cat, only to be substituted by something/someone a bit less pleasant. Try to take your finger away from the screen…I dare you?
