Skittles Launches Their Latest Variety: Blenders

Skittles brand is pushing the rainbow, so to speak. Their new variety, Blenders, features an interesting array of five blended fruit flavors. Among the flavors are Melon Berry Burst, Strawberry Lime Blast, Cherry Tropicolada, Watermelon Green Apple Freeze and Mango Lemonade Freeze. Internet and television spots are now in full swing to promote the new candy which comes complete in a vibrant yellow packaging.

In an effort to position the candy as a viable flavor alternative to blended fruit drinks, one of their more memorable television spots include a man who attempts to get rid of his blender because “Skittles Blenders taste like blended fruit drinks, so I don’t need you anymore!” Everything that follows this exchange revolves around the blender flying away and attempting to come back home.
