Popular ‘Skinnygirl’ Margarita Founder’s Next Venture? ‘Skinnygirl’ Marijuana

Sometimes, getting high really does lead to great business ideas. Bethenny Frankel, the mastermind behind the Skinnygirl empire of low-calorie alcoholic drinks, now has plans to sell weed that doesn’t give smokers the munchies.

Frankel was spotted doing “market research” in Aspen, Colorado in December. She has now unveiled plans to sell her “Skinnygirl Marijuana” in Alaska, Oregon, Colorado and Washington, states where recreational marijuana is legal.

The cannabis industry is basically a surefire money maker for those who are investing early on, so Frankel’s “designer” weed is actually a pretty good idea … though part of the joy of smoking does come from eating delicious food while feeling famished. To have munchies, or not to have munchies, that is the question.
