Watch This Rock Star Catch And Drink A Flying Beer While Crowdsurfing

John Coffey is a Dutch band that’s randomly named after the big dude from the Green Mile.

The band performed at the Pinkpop Festival in Holland this weekend, and lead singer David Achten De Molen decided to do a little crowd-walking. As he pounced on the crowd, from the distance came a flying cup of beer. He calmly stuck out his hand, caught the beer, drank it and tossed it.

Yup, pretty bad-ass.

The video is so awesome, but also feels unreal. It kind of looks like an old Gillette commercial where baseball player Evan Longoria somehow catches a line drive without looking.

It takes a lot of voodoo to throw a cup upright without it flipping over, and even more magic for someone to catch it ever-so-smoothly.

Here’s one angle of it.

And here’s another angle, really trying to make us believers.

Couldn’t find any additional angles from within the crowd, which is weird, so skepticism still exists, but if he did catch it, all hail this Rock Wizard.
