Sesame Street’s Star Wars Parody is Ripe with Dessert References

The hit PBS children’s program Sesame Street recently uploaded a video parodying the relatively unknown space opera Star Wars.

Star S’mores follows the adventures of Luke Piewalker, Flan Solo and Chewie the Cookie as they embark on a quest to save Princess Parfaita. The video is a significantly condensed version of the original trilogy albeit with a more wholesome and cookie-heavy theme. With the Cookie Monster portraying Han, it’s not surprising.

Check out the video below. If you get past the fact that it’s aimed at children, count to four — the video is actually worth a decent chuckle and spot on in keeping with the Star Wars spirit.
