Salame al Cioccolato: Chocolate Salami

This Salame al Cioccolato originated from containers of leftover melted chocolate and nuts in our friend Grace’s refrigerator. The result is a reinterpretation of an Italian Dessert traditionally made using dark chocolate, cookies and dark rum. Grace used some quality dark chocolate, castr sugar, dark rum, unsweetened cocoa, tea biscuits, toasted almonds, hazelnuts and pistachios and sifted confectioners’ sugar for her work surface.

For those interested in having this dessert after your next big dinner, Grace has the entire recipe and ingredient list laid out on her blog.
