Computer-Designed Ruby Chocolate Cake Is The Most Gorgeous Dessert Ever
Last month, news of a novel fourth type of chocolate, Ruby, took the internet by storm. Folks fell in love with it for its vibrant pink color and inherent fruity, berry-like flavor. Those traits are captured perfectly in this ruby chocolate cake made with the innovative chocolate product.
The mesmerizing dessert was conceived by Ukrainian pastry chef Dinara Kasko, who is famous, especially on Instagram, for her visually stunning cake creations. In the case of this Ruby chocolate cake, Kasko utilized algorithmic programming to create a series of silicon moulds to construct her cakes in. Every single mould had a unique shape, but together, they all flow almost perfectly.
The colors and flavors of the Ruby chocolate are present in every aspect of the cake. Each component is coated with Ruby chocolate, and a Ruby ganache and mousse are also on the inside. A berry compote accentuates the fruity flavors of the novel chocolate type, and everything is finished with a biscuit layer, complete with more Ruby chocolate and raspberries.
While Ruby chocolate won’t hit markets for a few more months, Kasko did write on her Instagram that you can buy the moulds on her website. The particular ones needed for this cake aren’t there yet, however, but they may show up in a few days, as many other of her popular cake designs are on site. Alternatively, you could also use Grasshopper, the algorithmic machine used by Kasko and her team, to construct a similar set of moulds.
Then, once Ruby chocolate arrives, you can go ahead and make this beautiful cake for yourself.
