SoCal Legend Randy’s Donuts Wants To Open New Locations Nationwide

Randy's Donuts

Randy’s Donuts is about as synonymous with SoCal as their traffic is. The iconic donut shop, a short drive away from LAX, has gained international fame for its appearances in blockbuster films and hit TV shows, including Arrested Development, Entourage, and Iron Man 2. Now, Randy’s is looking to bring a taste of the Hollywood life outside of California’s borders.

Randy’s Donuts president Mark Kelegian told ABC7 that he’s looking to expand the business into multiple shops both in and out of SoCal. Apart from the original spot in Inglewood, there’s also a recently opened location in Century City, with a third in El Segundo on the way. Kelegian isn’t stopping there, though, as he’s planning to open outlets as far away as the East Coast.

According to Kelegian, these future installments would be franchise outlets overseen by current ownership, but run independently. Eater LA reports that while no specific locations have been revealed yet, Randy’s Donuts is exploring “major markets” nationwide to look at where to set up shop next.

There’s also no current timetable being reported, but we’re looking forward to seeing where this Los Angeles legend will spread to next.
