Gordon Ramsay Just Said He’s Gonna Beat Bobby Flay’s Ass In A Cook-Off

Two of the biggest heavyweights in the food world might actually do battle soon, as Gordon Ramsay announced at Vegas Uncork’d, that a cook-off between himself and Bobby Flay was in the works.

Gordon, having fun throughout the Bon Appetit-hosted event at Caesar’s Palace, said by year’s-end, the two will have a live, one-on-one “throwdown” as soon as Flay would, “Move his ass and sign the deal.”

Check out the Instagram video below:

Should I let you in on a little secret?” Ramsay said. At the end of the year, we’re going to go and do a throwdown… against a chef that I’ve grown up and admired for many years, but he keeps on refusing to go against me. You may not have heard of him, but his name is Bobby Flay.”

Ramsay, took playful jabs at Flay throughout the Uncork’d event,  saying things like, “I do love the guy, I just can’t wait to beat his ass,” and “Just sign the contract, Bobby!”

He could have been trolling the audience, but it looks like this might actually, really happen. Two of the biggest and most popular chefs could go at it this year.

We’re now taking bets.
