Rainy Day Cupcakes

Don’t get bummed about those rainy days, just turn them into a cupcake! That’s what our friend Megan did with this amazing Rainy Day Cupcake! Utilizing a couple drops of blue food coloring or food gel to 1/3 of vanilla cake batter, she scooped a tablespoon of it into the bottom of a paper lined cupcake tin to make the blue puddle you see at the bottom. Finally, she added a few tablespoons of Blue Jimmie sprinkles to the undyed batter to make the raindrops. Oh yeah, can’t forge the “cloud” of white vanilla buttercream sitting on top of the delectable cake. MmmM.
