Pressed Juicery Honors Black History Month With Limited Edition Artist Series

Pressed Juicery is honoring the creativity of Black culture for Black History Month. The cold-pressed juice and snacks brand commissioned three Black artists to transform its juice bottles into canvases with limited edition designs that celebrate their unique styles and stories.
The collection includes Greens 3 by Sydneé Bethel, an abstract artist; Citrus 2 by Cortney Herron, a figurative painter; and Roots 3 by Julian Jamaal Jones, a multidisciplinary artist.
“Native Harmony is all about unity,” said Sydneé Bethel of her design. “It is a past memory and a present prayer. It is humankind vibrating on the frequency of God’s love. I think that our differences are so beautiful and necessary. It is our individual cultures that make the world so colorful and vibrant.”
Cortney Herron describes her work, Bloom, as having “a bold, earthy energy.” “Growing up in Los Angeles, I developed a profound connection to nature, which continues to shape how I use color, texture, and form, creating work that feels both grounded and ethereal,” she added.
“My design ‘Soul In Spectrum’ was inspired by the rich, layered history of Black culture, particularly the way color, music, and storytelling intertwine to create a vibrant tapestry of identity,” said Julian Jones. “I wanted to capture the essence of joy, resilience, and heritage through bold hues and abstract forms, reflecting how Black artists have historically used color as a form of expression and empowerment.”
Pressed says they chose artists whose work reflected the spirit of the initiative. “Cortney Herron, Julian Jamaal Jones, and Sydneé Bethe each bring a unique perspective on heritage, resilience, and empowerment, said Andrei Najjar, Senior Vice President Marketing + Brand at Pressed Juicery. “We selected them not only for their talent but also to give them full creative freedom to interpret Black History Month in their own way.”
Beyond the artwork, Pressed is giving back—a portion of the proceeds will support Our Own, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to health, wellness, and education in Black communities. As part of this initiative, Pressed is also donating juices to support K-12 wellness programs in Inglewood, CA.
“Our mission at Pressed Juicery is to make health and wellness accessible to all, and Our Own is an organization that deeply aligns with that purpose,” Najjar said. “Their initiatives in mental health, nutrition, education, and fitness make a tangible difference, and we’re honored to support their work in dismantling systemic barriers and expanding access to these vital resources.”
The Pressed Juicery Black History Month collection is available online and in all Pressed Juicery stores from now through Feb. 28.
