Boneless Wings Debut At Popeyes With Help From Comedian Jimmy O. Yang
Popeyes is rolling out Boneless Wings nationwide starting June 25, and they’re not holding back on flavor. These wings, made from tender chicken breast, come in six mouthwatering varieties like Classic, Honey Lemon Pepper, and Signature Hot—perfect for anyone who loves a crispy, juicy bite.
Joining the ongoing debate about boneless wings, Popeyes has teamed up with actor and comedian Jimmy O. Yang, known for his skepticism about them. But after tasting Popeyes’ Boneless Wings, Jimmy’s a convert and he’s helping spread the word.
To kick off the launch, Popeyes is offering a free 6-piece Boneless Wings with any $10 purchase made through their app or website until July 14th. It’s their way of thanking loyal fans and tempting the skeptics to give boneless a shot.
And though I still think boneless wings are a kick in the shin of wing aficionados such as myself, Popeyes earned rep in serving up fantastic fried chicken could be enough to sway my reluctance to embrace them.
