Why Pope Francis Decided To Change His Clothes In A Burger King
Pope Francis spoke at an open-air mass in Bolivia Thursday and according to ABC News, jumped into a nearby Burger King to change his clothes.
No, it wasn’t a last-second decision. The Pope actually had the Burger King reserved three days in advanced because of its closeness to the mass’ stage.
The Burger King had the restaurant filled with decorations fit for a king, or a pope, as Pope Francis got dressed, rounded up his posse and rolled out to speak to the masses in Bolivia.
The burger restaurant’s owner said business immediately boomed, and it’s no surprise as not only was the Pope’s presence there, but the restaurant got to keep all the fancy furniture used in the mass. Now people have an excuse to run come in, grab a whopper and take a pic of the Pope’s holy chair.
You’d think the Pope would look for a nearby church, or at least a Chick-Fil-A to change his holiest of clothes, but this is the same Pope who let all dogs go to heaven and rocked the cover of Rolling Stone, so anything goes.
