Plus-Sized McDonald’s Fry Container Holds 2x as Many Fries, Is Definitely a Good Idea

It’s called the “Share Potato,” and since it isn’t Super-Sized, it should totally be legal in the U.S., right? Right?

A couple of Christmases ago, McDonald’s Japan released an extra large fry container dubbed the “Mega Potato,” aimed toward families who didn’t feel like purchasing one package per person. This year, they decided to bring it back under a new name and with a couple extra notches in its belt. Whereas the old “Mega” version could only hold two medium orders of fries, the “Share” has expanded to hold two large ones. That’s about 1,000 calories, all for only 490 yen, or $4.95 USD.

I mean um, 250 calories, because I’m clearly going to find another 3 adults to share this thing with. Of course.
